After a week's worth of work on her, she's very nearly complete! A few more finishing touches on her gaping maw, and some duct tape detail... and then, voila!
This is definitely becoming a series that will definitely include more of these blow-up doll / paper doll / dress up conflations. But now i'm thinking that it would be funny to paint some "headshots" of her face, illustrating emotions ("wrath", "pensive", "seductive"... you get the idea), because i love how her expression changes depending upon, well, *my* mood. Also, i'm thinking of making use of her slight resemblence to those cherubs that adorn antique mirrors and the like... maybe painting her in their place on a trompe l'oiel-style mirror / frame...
Anyway, i should probably finish this one first, huh?
